Stretch & Surrender (Yin)

This reduced heat and slower paced class brings balance to an active and/or stressful lifestyle. Stretch and surrender (yin yoga) is a therapeutic practice where the focus is to
stretch deep down into the joints and connective tissues. The poses can be held 2-8 minutes and by utilizing stillness and relaxation, it allows the practitioner to explore the depths of their stretch. This is an individualized practice that uses props (blocks, straps, bolsters, etc.) and where practitioners are guided and encouraged to find the positions that best suit the needs of their own body.

This practice is done in the hot room at a reduced heat.
